The Banat Mailing List
In 1995, Bob Madler started the Banat Mailing List which has discussed genealogy and other cultural topics of Donauschwaben or Danube Swabians around the world
(Read how Bob started the list). Today the list has over 600 subscribers and is signaling the growing awareness and importance of our culture. |
There are two methods of receiving the Banat Mailing List.
Banat-L is for individual messages to be delivered to your e-mail address. As each subscriber to the list sends messages to the list address, you will receive a copy of the message. The majority of the subscribers use this method.
Banat-D is for a digest of several accumulated messages to be delivered to your email address, generally once a day. As each subscriber to the list sends messages to the list address, they are put into a digest to be delivered later. This option is handy for people who don't want multiple messages to accumulate in their mail box.
